SPECIAL EVENTS

BURLESQUE, PLAYMATE-STYLE

We suppose it isn’t too much of a stretch to have Playboy Playmate Miss October 2010 CLAIRE SINCLAIR guest-star in MGM Grand’s sensual French burlesque show, Crazy Horse Paris. Sinclair has been tipped to perform three unique acts alongside the show’s beautiful cast. And she’s not just a pretty face (or body) – Sinclair was also involved in designing her costumes, and with the choreography. Not only that, but by stepping on stage, Sinclair will make history, not only by joining the ranks of other world-renowned glamorous women who have been special guests of the show – Dita Von Teese, Pamela Anderson and more; but also by being the youngest headliner (at the ripe old age of 19) in Crazy Horse history.

Crazy Horse with special guest Claire Sinclair, October 21-28. Show times are 8 and 10:30 p.m., Wednesday-Monday. Tickets are $50.50 and $60.50. Guests must be 18 years or older to attend. To purchase, call 702-891-7777.

RIDE 'EM COWBOY

Yes, they’ll be out in full force – men (and probably some women) in cowboy togs – hat, belt, boots, fringe jacket – the works. Yes, they’re in town for the PROFESSIONAL BULL RIDERS BUILD FORT TOUGH WORLD FINALS – an annual event that takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center. This year promises to be no different – where fans and spectators can have their fill of all the action – spread across five days. This event is so popular, but don’t take our word for it, the statistics back it up – such as: an estimated 116,000 fans will travel to Las Vegas to attend this event – all this totaling a non-gaming economic impact to the tune of over $24 million dollars.

PBR World Finals, October 20-24, Thomas & Mack Center. Hours are 6-8:30 p.m., October 20-23; 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., October 24. Tickets are $21, $31, $41, $86 and $251. To purchase, visit: www.unlvtickets.com or call 866-PBR-SHOW (727-7469).
