The
Luck O' The Irish
Even
with only a handful of Irish pubs in Las Vegas, there’s no
shortage of St. Patrick’s Day revelers and revelry. After
all, which other holiday provides an excuse to drink beer? While
you’re at it – make it a Guinness, would you? It’s
said that a pint of Guinness draught has fewer calories than a pint
of semi-skimmed milk or a pint of orange juice, making Guinness
‘really good for you.’ And it doesn’t matter whether
it’s St. Pat’s Day or not, because 10 million glasses
of Guinness are consumed every day around the world. The original
Guinness Brewery in Dublin has a 9,000 year lease on its property,
so drink-up – that’s a lot of beer…
McMullan’s
Irish Pub - This Irish pub located off-strip, on Tropicana
and Cameron, is open 24/7, and claims to be ‘purveyors of
the perfect pint.’ On top of the beer, traditional Irish pub
grub is served, along with traditional English–style breakfasts.
This really is the closest to having a local pub hangout in the
city.

p.m., Monday – Friday; 5-11 p.m., Saturday; 5-10 p.m., Sunday.
Brendan’s

Pub is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on March 14-15 and 17.

Legendary
for its attention to detail, every piece in the pub – from
the floor planks to the décor, was painstakingly shipped
to Las Vegas from Ireland. At Nine Fine Irishmen
in New York-New York, the 2008 Celtic Feis is up-and-running beginning
Saturday, March 15 all the way through to Monday, March 17. The
entertainment line-up includes Mike Bow-man, Irish Kevin and Ri
Ra. Tickets are $50 per person and includes admission for all 3

Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Sat-urday, March 15.
