NASCAR
fans are all set to descend on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for
the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
UAW-Dodge 400 and NASCAR Nationwide Series Sam’s Town 300,
happening Friday, February 29 – Sunday, March 2.
While
we’re sure most venues on the Strip will be hosting NASCAR
parties, we think these events are the most notable and worth-mentioning.
Where
else would you begin but at the NASCAR Entertainment Center
at Sahara Hotel? NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer (plus
the Jack Daniel’s Girls) will be signing autographs and taking
photos with fans on Thursday, February 28, 8:30 p.m. – 10
p.m., NASCAR Entertainment Center. Get your gear going and grab
some deals at the NASCAR Racewear Shop during the
NASCAR weekend sale. Cheer on your favorites while wearing an authentic
racing jacket or cap.
 All
the excitement making you hungry? Then pop down to the NASCAR
Café, adjacent to the retail shop where you can
feast on burgers, barbecued chicken wings or pork sandwiches amidst
NASCAR memorabilia and the world’s largest Pontiac Grand Prix
stock car deigned by Dale Earnhardt.
If
all this isn’t enough, head on down to the CYBER SPEEDWAY
where you can turn your race car dreams into reality. This is as
close as it gets to the real deal, with speeds of up to 220 mph!
 Over
at SAM’S TOWN, celebrate the weekend with
JOSH GRACIN as he performs on Saturday, March 1,
8 p.m., Sam’s Town Live! Tickets are $15 and can be purchased
at the Sam’s Town Live! Box Office. Gracin will also be singing
the National Anthem at 1 p.m. that day to kick-off the Sam’s
Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
THE
FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE hosts RACEJAM WEEKEND
– your ticket for free entertainment featuring Bruce Springsteen
tribute band, BRUCE IN THE USA
(9-11 p.m., 3rd Street stage) along with GARAGE BOYS
(6-8 p.m., 3rd Street stage), BLAKE SHELTON, LOCASH COWBOYS
and BELA TABAK’S RIDERS OF THE THUNDERDOME
(9:15 and 11:15 p.m., Main Street).
