Last Days of Summer
Not
only is summer almost over, but September 1, Labor Day, is also
one of the last holidays we have, at least until Thanksgiving in
November. So, while you’re all slowly recovering from your
summer vacations or getting ready to go back to work (or school),
we suggest you take this one last long-weekend in Las Vegas to soak
up some sun, sit by the pool, cool down and enjoy summer’s

BARE
POOL LOUNGE at The Mirage offers an adult alternative to
the typical Vegas pool experience. Known for its two saltwater luxury
dipping pools, private daybeds and cabanas, raised VIP section and
ultra VIP service. DJ-spun music adds to the party mood. Open daily,
11 a.m.-7 p.m. Admission charge is $10 for women, $30 for men (Monday-Thursday);
$20 for women, $40 for men (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Local
ladies are always complimentary, with valid ID. Guests must be 21
years of age.
 For
the more adventurous, THE TANK at The Golden Nugget,
lets you swim with the sharks. The $30 million pool boasts five
species of sharks and various game fish – contained in the
200,000-gallon shark aquarium, which is the centerpiece of the three-story
pool complex. Cabanas and daybeds for rent, fees vary. Open daily,

Who
says a desert can’t have a beach? MANDALAY BAY BEACH
is a must-stop for lovers of surf and sand. The 11-acres of tropical-inspired
poolside bliss also includes the three-story Beach Casino complete
with the Beach Bar & Grill, Beachside Casino and Villa Soleil.
Day beds, bungalows and cabanas require advance reservations and
range from $100 to $750 per day. Day use rates for the villas start
from $750. Also available, MOOREA BEACH CLUB offers
an upscale experience for guests 21 years or older. The Club also
offers day beds, opium beds and pavilions from $250 to $750 per

 “Daylife”
is born with the opening of WET REPUBLIC. The 53,000
square foot ultra pool at MGM Grand combines an exclusive nightlife
vibe with poolside pampering and relaxation. Offering Elite VIP
service, high-end amenities and renowned entertainers. Next to the
pool is an open air ultra-lounge, perfect for those who want to
mix, mingle, dance or dine. The sundeck offers top-notch entertainment.
Cabanas, bungalows, day beds and chaise longues may be reserved,

For
the ultimate in adult-only pools, take a dip in the SAPPHIRE
POOL. Rio’s ultra-hot, Brazilian style pool concept
teams-up with the hot, hot, hot ladies of Sapphire – the world’s
largest Gentleman’s Club. Fully-outfitted cabanas, day beds
and chaise longues may be reserved. Relax in the Jacuzzis or enjoy
the tropical lagoon, waterfalls or sandy beach area. Open daily,
10 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is $30 for men, $10 for women on weekdays;
$50 for men, $10 for women on weekends; $60 for men, $10 for women

 TAO
BEACH is an extension of the original, uber-hot nightspot
that is TAO Nightclub. Located on the rooftop level of the Venetian
Hotel, the 18,000 sq. ft. area is transformed into a lush and exotic
locale complete with stone Buddha statues, lavish cabanas, oversized
day beds and VIP service. Rates for cabanas (accommodating up to
20) and day beds (accommodating up to 6) vary on weekdays and weekends
and range between $250 and $2,000 for cabanas or $100 and $500 for
