The show is called “Barbra and Frank… The Concert That Never Was.” Although the names to note are Sharon Owens and Sebastian Anzaldo, the dynamic duo who bring to life nightly, the universal appeal of superstars Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra. In a city that probably has more tribute artists per capita, than anywhere else in the United States – it’s becoming increasingly difficult to stand out from the hundreds of talented performers, either waiting for their big break or already wow-ing audiences on the Strip, such as Sharon and Sebastian.
Like anywhere else in the world, but perhaps most apt on The Strip, the success of any show depends, on a large part, on location, location, location. Of course, it helps if you’ve got backers, and a really great production, but for the most part, it’s all perception. For how else would you explain the success of the recently-opened show “Absinthe,” which has been drawing raves from just about everyone in town?
