More than 1,000 helium balloons will light the night sky Saturday, November 5, at 6:30 p.m. for The Southern Nevada Office of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 12th Annual Light The Night® Walk, at Kellogg Zaher Park (7901 W. Washington Ave.) in Summerlin.

Light The Night®, LLS’s annual fundraising walk is held in more than 200 communities across the country, features teams of co-workers, families and friends walking together in twilight holding illuminated balloons – white for survivors, red for supporters and gold to remember those who have died. The Walk, which commemorates lives touched by blood cancers, is a fundraiser to support blood cancer research for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The event includes music, refreshments and family activities.
