Now on its 19th year, THE MAGICAL FOREST returns once again to the delight of the young and young at heart. More than 150,000 people visit the Forest every year, basking in the glow of more than three million lights on hundreds of decorated trees. Family favorites such as the Forest Express and Enchanted Carousel will be on hand to add to the fun; as well as the Gingerbread Display House and Gift Cabin. What’s more, it’s all for a good cause – with proceeds benefiting people with disabilities at Opportunity Village.

The Magical Forest, Opportunity Village, 6300 West Oakey Boulevard. Hours are 5:30-9:30 p.m., Sunday-Thursday; till 10 p.m., Friday-Saturday; through January 1, 2011. Tickets are $9.75 for general admission; and $7.75 for children 2-12. Passports (general admission plus unlimited rides) are $16.25 for adults and $14.25 for children 2-12. Kids under 2 are free.
